SIPquest Adds to Executive Management Team

Ottawa, Canada - April 7, 2005 - SIPquest, a leading developer of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based IP Telephony software applications and technology reported today that it continues to build its senior management team with the appointments of Brian Coulter as Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Mike Kelly as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Kelly is responsible for setting the company's strategic financial direction, while Mr. Coulter is responsible for building SIPquest's strategic sales partnerships.

Brian Coulter is a seasoned technology professional with experience in building strategic sales partnerships for both start-ups and multi-million dollar companies. As Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Brian is responsible for SIPquest's global sales and Partner initiatives. Before joining SIPquest, Brian was VP of the Service Provider Business Unit at Polycom where he was responsible for their coordinated go-to-market strategy for worldwide service providers. Previous to that, Brian held senior sales roles at several technology start-up organizations including BayPackets Inc, Northpoint Communications and Ascend Communications (acquired by Lucent Technologies). Additionally, Brian has gained valuable sales and management experience from several senior positions at IBM, GTE and Computer Network Technology. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore , MD.

Mike Kelly brings more than twenty years of financial and strategic business planning and operational management experience to SIPquest. As Chief Financial Officer, Mike is responsible for global financial operations. Prior to joining SIPquest, Mike was the Chief Financial Officer for Spacebridge Semiconductor Corp. While at Spacebridge, Mike was responsible for corporate finance, financial management and corporate service functions. Previously, Mike held the position of AVP, Business Portfolio Management with Newbridge Networks (now Alcatel) where he was responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of financial and business processes. In addition, Mike brings extensive experience in financial management from senior positions at SHL Systemhouse, CAL Corporation and Mitel Corporation. Mike holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University in Ottawa along with a Chartered Accountant designation.
